DSLR 10 megapixel 2/3 censor, purchased 2007 with:

• 80 to 400 mm telephoto zoom;
• 105mm micro lens mainly used for insects; &
• a 1.4x tele-conversion lens for extra reach with the telephoto zoom, infrequently used.

Camera Equipment

The website is hosted by hosting4hobbies with the 'free service' option currently being used.

The Uk Birds gallery was created & hosted by JAlbum software & free hosting service (from early 2011 JAlbum ceased to offer their free hosting service to new customers).

The other galleries, butterfies etc, were created using the JAlbum freeware and stored on the free hosting sservice from '000webhost.com'.

Software Used

To process the 'raw' images I use Nikon Capture NX and Adobe Photoshop Elements for any further editing to the JPeg images.

The website has been created using Avantquest 'WebEasy' software.

To upload the website I use LeechFTP freeware.

The favourite icon graphices were created using NCH Pixillion Image converter freeware.
